Gopal Koratana is the founder and CEO of IBOTSystems and co-founder of Cyrano Systems.
Before this, Mr. Koratana was the Chief Technology Officer of Vendormate Inc., a fast-growing software and solutions company that allows healthcare providers and suppliers to form efficient and effective business relationships. Mr. Koratana was one of the founding members of the Vendormate team and, after over a decade at Vendormate, oversaw two successful acquisition, which was finally capped by the Vendormate acquisition by GHX in November 2014.
Before Vendormate, Mr. Koratana was a Software Architect and consultant at Manheim Auctions, a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises. At Manheim, Mr. Koratana led the design and development of their flagship Dealer Management System. Mr. Koratana also worked as an Architect and consultant for Fortune 500 companies like John Deer UPS Logistics, Eagle Logistics GE Transportation, and GE-Harris railway electronics.
Mr. Koratana handles all technology and product strategy areas, including software development IT/Systems and managing US and Offshore resources. From his nearly 20 years of technology leadership experience, Mr. Koratana has acquired a unique blend of technological, operational, and entrepreneurial experiences.
Mr. Koratana is a graduate of IIT Chennai India with a Master in Electronics and Power Engineering. He did his bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Nagpur University, India. Gopal lives in Johns Creek, Georgia, with his wife Shubhangi and two children.
