Daryl Dunahoo P.E., former CEO of Power Consulting Engineers

Daryl is a (34-year veteran in the electrical substation design business. He is a native of Atlanta, growing up in Chamblee and Dunwoody. Daryl was very active in the Boy Scouts and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He worked for Georgia Power Company while attending the Georgia Institute of Technology. With his BS in Electrical Engineering from Ga Tech, Daryl began his career at Southern Engineering Co. in 1989. After ten years of consulting experience, Daryl formed Power Consulting Engineers in 1999 with business partner Doug Trotter. He is a registered P.E. in 9 states and individually specializes in bolted electrical connections, substation physical design substation batteries, and protective relaying. In December 2020, Daryl and his partner Doug sold their company to a larger competitor.

Daryl now manages his residential and commercial properties portfolio and plays on his farm in Pendergrass, GA.
