TiE Atlanta, one of the top five chapters in the world, has fostered entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, education, and investments since 1998.
At TiE Atlanta, we offer TYE and TYE-U for young entrepreneurs in high school and college, TiE Angels, TiE Foundation, Mentor Match, Council of Board Advisors (COBA), Enterprise to Entrepreneurs (E2E) and TiECON Atlanta– the premier entrepreneurial event in the Southeast. TiE was founded on the belief that nurturing entrepreneurs will lead to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and encapsulates the true spirit of giving back to the community.
Since its inception, TiE has used its vast network of successful entrepreneurs to give back and foster the next generation. Programs dedicated to providing education to both high school and college students, as well as up and coming entrepreneurs, have strengthened TiE’s global footprint and led to numerous companies being nurtured and funded throughout the world. TiE Atlanta offers signature programs, including TYE and TYE-U (TiE Young Entrepreneurs), Mentor Match, COBA, E2E and TiECON Atlanta.
TiE members span the spectrum from successful founders of mature companies, entrepreneurs creating new companies, professionals from top corporations and leading venture capital firms to thought leaders, senior executives and technology professionals. No matter where you come from, the largest differentiator between TiE and other entrepreneurship organizations is TiE’s Global network. TiE members are connected within a vast network of entrepreneurs from around the world. By joining TiE Atlanta, you can use our Global Networking platform (TiELink) to connect, chat, video chat, share documents and form communities with anyone in the network anywhere in the world.
The success of early stage companies depends on access to capital, advice and networks. TiE Atlanta Angels (TiE Angels) is the newest angel investment group to support startups and entrepreneurs in Seed and Series A funding rounds. The fund, launched by TiE Atlanta, seeks to invest capital in companies to build the foundation yielding a profitable business or those seeking a first significant round of venture capital financing. While not industry-specific, TiE Angels looks for unique companies developing products, or those that are tech-focused or tech-enabled.
TiE hosts a number of incubators and accelerators throughout its network. These startup hubs offer expert mentorship resources such as office space, legal counsel and even seed money. Here at TiE Atlanta, we’re especially proud of our TYE High School, TYE University and Council of Board Advisors (COBA) programs.
