The TiE Atlanta Foundation, launched by TiE Atlanta, encourages entrepreneurship education in Georgia by building sustainable high school and university programs (TYE High School and TYE University) that:
The foundation supports TYE High School and TYE University, the award-winning youth entrepreneurship programs hosted by TiE Atlanta.
TYE High School empowers high school students with the means of entrepreneurship. The program empowers and educates students to become the next generation of entrepreneurs. TYE HS is a hands-on entrepreneurship, ideation, business model, financial and customer discovery program taught by entrepreneur mentors from the TiE Atlanta network. Through mentorship and entrepreneurship education, our students tap into their entrepreneurial gene to find solutions for local and global problems and develop their leadership and public speaking skills.
Launched in 2013, TYE University empowers and inspires college students to become entrepreneurs through a rotational partnership with a university. The entrepreneurship competition enhances the learning objectives of students through the creation and presentation of business plans for startups and recently launched small business ventures. The TYE University competition is open to any current Georgia college student and current year graduates. The annual qualification round is held in February, and the annual final competition is held in April.
